INHALER
Strong guidelines were given to Skeg as to how the product must look. The biggest challenge was using the geometry that the client wanted and making it manufacturable. We used the internals to drive the size and shape of the unit, however with this design the interaction between the user and the product is critical. A lot of time was spent making sure the product works ergonomically with the user, especially around the mouth area. We also had to pay special attention to surface finishes since the product must be easy to clean and be hygienic. Skeg also developed the electronics for the product. Multiple prototypes were manufactured through traditional prototyping methods.
I did this project while working at Skeg.
