The design needed to update the look and feel of the product, but still remain conservative and timeless. Additional to this the handles needed to be manufactured with all the current machinery and relatively simple tooling. Multiple prototypes were modeled, 3D printed, shaped by hand and then recaptured in CAD until the customer was satisfied with the look and feel as well as meeting all the industrialisation criteria.
