We presented the client with a range of concept drawings from which a direction for the design was chosen. The challenge was to design a cover that can grip onto the Tube and take the weight of 3 liters of wine. The idea behind the design represents the ripple effect of a drop falling into a pool of liquid. In designing the unit the packing and stacking of the unit also had to be considered. We used hand drawn sketches, CorelDraw and Pro-Engineer in doing the design of the unit.
